Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard is widely regarded as a pioneer of American viticulture and a true master of one of the world’s greatest noble grapes: Riesling.

At Aszú Wines & Spirits, we strive to showcase artisanal producers who define their regions. While we are lucky to have the Finger Lakes in our own backyard, we firmly believe the wines produced here stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in the world.

To celebrate this, Fred and Oskar will lead us through a curated flight comparing Finger Lakes benchmarks with iconic global examples. We aren't just comparing and contrasting—we are exploring how this singular grape expresses itself across different soils and climates.

The Flight (In Progress): Expect selections from legendary producers such as Selbach-Oster (Mosel, Germany), Bründlmayer (Kamptal, Austria), and Pewsey Vale (Eden Valley, Australia). Plus, Fred and Oskar may just bring something rare from their private cellar to share.
