A Midwinter Night's Dram- Two bottle Bundle

High West Distillery was established in 2006 in Park City, Utah, the first legal distillery since 1870. David Perkins- a biochemist- and his wife Jane, were inspired to open the distillery after a visit at a distillery in Kentucky. 

High West started with a small, 250 gallon still and Saloon in an old, historic livery stable garage. During a renovation, a horse shoe was found that adorns the label. 

Initially, High West blended Rye Whiskey that was purchased from other distilleries, until their distillery was built and their whiskey was mature enough to bottle. Blending in Scotland is a long-established tradition, but in the United States is almost frowned upon. However, when it's done right, it can offer an amazing spirit! 

A Midwinter Night's Dram has reached a collecitble status! A limited annual release, is High West Distillery's flagship Whiskey. Blend of different Rye Whiskeys, ages between 4 and 10 years old and finished in Ruby and Tawny Port barrels. Complex, rich and balanced. 

High West recommends to drink this whiskey "next to a warm fire as the snow piles up on the window sill." Though is equally rewarding sharing with someone you love.
