Antinori Guado Al Tasso, Cabernet Sauvignon, "Il Bruciato," Bolgheri Rosso, Tuscany, Italy 2023

Guado al Tasso started in by the Gherardesca family who owned about 4,000 ha on  the Bolgheri amphitheater, along the coast. Later on, the Gherardesca family was united with the Antinori family through marriage. Now the estate is owned by the Piero Antinori, owner of Tignanello, Badia a Passignano among others. The Antinori family can trace its roots back to 26 generations, making them one of the longstanding ambassadors of Tuscan wine. 

Guado al Tasso is in Bolgheri, coastal region of Tuscany, known for international grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot among others. 

Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC: 50 to 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 10 to 20% Syrah. Primary fermentation in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in new French oak for 8 months. Aged 16 months in bottle before release. Inaugural vintage 2002.
