About the Region: Bourgueil (pronounced Boor-GO-eeh) is a tiny appellation in the Loire Valley in western France, producing wines solely from Cabernet France. 

About the Grape: Cabernet Franc produces medium bodied wines with beautiful red fruited notes, slight herbal, savory quality with moderate tannins and elevated, refreshing acidity.
