Rothman & Winter Creme de Violette

Creme de Violette is a staple ingredient to the Aviation Cocktail, taking its name from the light blue, resembling the color of the sky. 

Aviation

• 1.5oz Gin
• 0.75 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
• 0.50 oz Luxardo Maraschino
• 0.25 oz Creme de Violette

Combine ingredients in a shaker, Shake and double strain in a coupe glass. Garnish with Maraschino Cherry; preferably Luxardo Maraschino Cherries.
